Introducing Jacqui Taylor

HI! My name is Jacqui Taylor, a Darwin-born local! I am the new Northern Marine Campaigner for the Australian Marine Conservation Society. I’m based out of the Environment Centre NT and replacing Samantha Nowland. This is just a quick note to introduce myself and let you know that I’ll be updating you with news and issues facing our Top End Sea Life.

My Background

I have worked, sailed and dived around the globe fuelling my adventures with a colourful career in marine science and management, film and tourism. I have worked across Northern Australia in various capacities, researching coral reefs, surveying cetaceans, and working closely with Indigenous people for the sustainable management of their marine resources.

I’m delighted to return to Darwin and grateful for this opportunity of being a voice for our unique and unprotected marine life, keeping you informed with issues affecting the integrity of our precious Top End seas!

Please Help me promote these issues within your networks by forwarding my emails to your Top End friends who also share concerns for our Top End Sea Life! Your voice does make a difference!! Sign up today!

If you would like to be a voice for our oceans, please let me know how you would like to be involved. Additionally, if you have concerns, news, ideas or photographs on anything regarding our Top End Sea Life, I would love to hear from you.

Best wishes, and healthy fishes,

Jacqui Taylor
